Inclusion, accessibility & safeguarding

Inclusion, accessibility and safety come first

Families trust us with their children. Here is how we make our programs welcoming, accessible and safe.

Inclusion

Built for access

Emole was created to expand access and opportunity for Black youth and other underrepresented youth. We aim for our mentors, instructors and volunteers to reflect the communities we serve, and we work with sponsors to offer scholarship places so cost is less of a barrier.

Accessibility

Accessibility & accommodations

If your child needs an accommodation to take part fully, please tell us. We will work with you to find a reasonable solution.

We also aim for this website to be accessible to everyone. If something doesn't work for you, let us know.

Safeguarding

How we keep young people safe

Professional boundaries

Adults keep clear, appropriate boundaries with youth at all times.

Approved communication

Program communication happens through approved channels, with parents informed.

Confidentiality

Personal information about youth and families is kept private.

Raising a concern

Anyone can raise a concern with program leadership, and every concern is taken seriously.

Privacy
