About Emole

Opening doors to future-ready careers

Why we exist

Talent is everywhere. Access isn't.

Technology and the world of work are changing fast, but access to specialized learning, mentors and professional networks is still uneven. We believe early exposure and hands-on experience change what young people believe is possible.

Through our Black Youth Career Pathways approach, every Emole program helps young people discover their strengths and turn them into real, market-relevant skills, from a Grade 2 student's first experiment to a high schooler's first business pitch.

Our mission

Equip Black youth and other underrepresented youth with skills, mentorship, networks and leadership opportunities in business, AI and STEM.

Our approach

One connected pathway: Explore, Build Skills, Apply, Lead and Progress.

Who we serve

Black youth and other underrepresented youth in Grades 2–12, and their families.

Where

In person in Kingston, Ontario, and online for our virtual programs.

Leadership

Meet our founder

Dr. Patrick Egbunonu

Founder & President

Patrick brings more than 20 years of experience across analytics, artificial intelligence, business, education and leadership. He is President and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of Informanos Analytics & Artificial Intelligence and an instructor at Queen's University's Smith School of Business. He previously served as Associate Dean and later Acting Dean of Business and Community Services at St. Lawrence College.

He holds a Master's in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University, an MBA through the Cornell–Queen's Executive MBA Americas program and a Ph.D. in Technology from Capitol Technology University. He serves on the Board of the Kingston Economic Development Corporation, and was named Community Builder of the Year (2025) and Business Person of the Year (2026).

Kingston is personal for Patrick: his three children were born here, and each took part in Black Youth STEM programming. That experience shaped his commitment to keeping these opportunities open to the next generation.
